choose carefully.

true, true, true.
i'm amazed at all the sayings and habits of lovebird's i have picked up.
almost every day, especially lately, lovebird makes a remark about how
"i'm turning into him".
i can't believe i am admitting to this;
because usually my comeback to him is, "no, you are turning into me".

when i came across this quote, i realized the truth behind this quote.
do you ever find yourself saying the things your girlfriends say?
or if you have been around your mom, do you come home "sounding" like her?
after being around little ones, do you catch onto their silly sayings?
or do you notice that one of your friends reminds you of another one of your friends?

choose carefully.
surrounding yourself with the right people is essential for
bettering yourself, acheiving happiness and molding yourself.

not to get motivational on you or anything,
just sharing my thoughts and the realization that i might by turning into lovebird.
but, i'm okay with that.
i married the man after all.

any thoughts on this? do share.
have a lovely tuesday.
xoxo

  4. I agree whole heartedly with this quote and unfortunately it has cost me a lot of friends and even family memebers. I decided quite a while ago that I didn't want to surround myself with people that would bring me down and I ended my relationships with them.

  7. This is something that I subconsciously think of when I meet someone new. If they seem not to fit in with who I am and what I stand for (not that I don't mind some diversity, I mean more like if they are over the top negative, mean to people, drug use)then I won't let them cross the gate into friendship because I don't want to be negatively influenced.

I saw it happen to my brother. He was well adjusted growing up, a bit of a trouble maker but nothing too serious. Then he started hanging out with kids that smoked pot, which led to friends that did more than that...this story doesn't end well. but it is a daily reminder of who I will let be a part of my life.
