trust your gut.

this my friends, is the motto of my life lately.
you have know idea.
trusting your gut is sometimes the hardest thing to do.
{because often times your gut feeling is the polar opposite of what you expect}
but, i am a firm believer to never ignore gut feelings.
they usually are spot on.
life has been a little crazy lately, to say the least.
big decisions are being made over here, for both of us.
trusting your gut
is a simple saying with so much truth and knowledge behind it.
as hard has it has been to trust my gut instincts-
i'm taking a huge leap of faith.
i'm a preacher of following your gut-
it's important to listen to your inner instincts.
after all, your own self knows you better than anyone else does.

happy friday!
i hope you have a lovely weekend.
go ahead, trust your gut-
even if it tells you to treat yourself to an extra piece of cake this weekend.
i assure you- your gut is right. you deserve it.
it's been a long week, right?
xoxo

  1. Amen. Thank you for this.

I trusted my gut to break up with my boyfriend yesterday. It was mutual, we both felt the same way, but by golly, it is hard. Very hard. But yes, when your gut keeps giving you the same message, it's usually right. And as my women's Bible study group says, it's probably the Holy Spirit speaking through you.

  2. One of my resolutions for the new year was to try to trust my gut feeling as much as I can! There were times in the past where I'd ignore my instincts and would regret my decisions later. Definitely a motto everyone should try to follow in their life!

  3. This is a phrase I'm going to try to keep in mind! My brother is about my age and is the polar opposite of me. I am all about analyzing the pros and cons of every situation...even about what we should do next for fun. He came to visit this past weekend and whenever I started debating about a decision he got out a coin, flipped it and that is how we decided. I'm thinking about trying to flip coins more often... :)
