forecast of love.

the forecast for the week is full of nothing but rain.

you already know that this thrills me.

i adore the rain.

how could you not?

it cleanses the earth and leaves nature looking rejuvenated.

it adds a fresh scent to the air. sigh.

it sometimes, if we're lucky, creates rainbows.

it forces me to stay indoors and snuggle up to lovebird.

or it forces me to run indoors while holding a stylish umbrella. 

{umbrellas are a rare occasion. and it's unfortunate because they're adorable.}

old movies come out of their hiding.

slippers are my best friend.

i tend to look out the window with hopeful eyes- 

assuring that the rain is indeed still falling.

the sound of pitter-patter is enough to make me giddy. 

driving in the rain is often times scary-

however, isn't it also the most calming sensation?

{what a funny and ironic concept}

and of course, it gives me the excuse to wear my hunter boots.

i'm in love with you, rain.

rain boots and puddles of homework.

it's raining. actually pouring.

{and i'm loving it.}

i am at school. studying my little brain out.

i'm craving hot coco and being home in my pj's.

i'm also craving time with lovebird.

i have never been so busy.

sometimes i have to stop and remind myself to breathe.

so please excuse the lack of posts in the last few days.

and just a warning: the next week will be even worst. 

a busy life makes a successful life. right?

i hope so.

geology test, math exam, swan lake rehearsals, teaching piano, primary lesson,

sewing pointe shoes, homework, working for jolene,

and being a wife.

ready, set, go.

nothing is impossible.

especially when you have rain to remind you that life is beautiful.

ballerinas are always in style.

i showed up to dance today, and check out these adorable rain boots.

it was a down pour all day long. 

 and i just looooooved it. 

it's no wonder we all came prepared for the weather.

and we certainly didn't miss out on the opportunity of doing it in style. 

p.s. my rain boots? the brown herringbone pair. 

got them at good old costco. years ago.

but who knows, if you're looking for a pair they might still carry some.

i love mine.
